Choosing to See, Hear, Taste, and Feel Love

Give yourself this gift of liberation, and then you will have a wider perspective of your connection.

Dear Soul,

A carrot can be repaid with another carrot of the same size or weight, but love cannot be repaid.

I cannot ask you to pay back with a love of the same proportion without imposing on you my own beliefs about love.

We might believe that the greatest achievement in a Soul Connection is to be loved back with the same intensity that we love, but the achievement is to find a source of love so limitless that you will not need to be repaid—not by a partner, not by your mother or father, not by your siblings or your neighbors, or your children.

It is not that you will not receive, but when you receive, your sight won't be blurred by what you feel you are lacking.

I could say that this source of infinite love is you, but it is more accurate to say that it is within you, and yet it is greater than you. Because if I say that you are everything you need, I would be dangerously imprecise and sowing a seed of separation that does not reflect the real condition of the spiritual life.
